Policy & Advocacy

ASTHO works closely with state and territorial health officials to shape laws, regulations, and administrative actions that drive improvement in governmental public health agencies. We ensure that decisions affecting our nation’s health and well-being incorporate the insights of state and territorial leaders. Our efforts include developing policy statements, legislative and legal analyses, technical assistance, and capacity-building activities.
