Instructions for Obtaining CME, CHES, MCHES Credits
ASTHO is offering free Continuing Medical Education (CME), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), and Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) credits through The Wake Forest University School of Medicine for the 2023 Health Equity Summit. Participants will have two weeks post-conference (until May 10, 2023) to register and request continuing education credit(s). ASTHO will verify participation/attendance before credit can be awarded.
Follow the instructions below to complete registration:
- Enter the URL into your web browser: www.nwahec.org/70739
- Select the “Register” button located under the event title.
- Sign in using your North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (NC AHEC) login credentials. (Your preferred email address and password.)
- If you do not have an existing NC AHEC account, you will need to create one using your preferred email address by clicking the “Create Account” link on the sign-in page and complete the steps to set up an account. Re-enter the link to the event and complete all required sections of the electronic registration form.
- You will receive confirmation via email. Save this as your proof of registration.
- IMPORTANT: Verify your contact information is current by clicking your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page (your dashboard will open) and going to the “Profile” section. Click on “Contact Information.” Be sure we have an up-to-date email address.
If you register before May 10, 2023, you will receive an evaluation that must be completed to receive credit and a certificate of completion.
You will not be able to download your certificate until you have registered, your attendance at the program has been verified, and the evaluation is completed.
